Completed: Report Writing Training

Accord Worldwide, is submitting a proposal for Report Writing Training bidding to one of the United Nation offices in Iraq. As part of this proposal, the company requires CV’s of two experts. The candidate is expected to have experience in consultancy in the humanitarian industry. Our training and capacity-building solutions are offered under our registered trademark “Accordemy®” which is registered with USPTO. This is not a job announcement. The contract is not awarded to Accord Worldwide yet and the purpose of this post is to invite interested consultants and include their CVs in the company proposal.

Objective:

The training will contribute to developing the participants’ capacities in preparing and writing reports. It will also provide them with the technical skills necessary to collect information and data to produce reports.

Description of Tasks

Five days training program in Arabic for 20 participants on reporting writing. The tentative date is May 2021 and will be determined if the contract is awarded to Accord Worldwide. The training shall take place in Baghdad, Iraq. The training main focus is on below minimum areas:

• Report Planning;
• Report structure;
• Grammar and Syntax;
• Presenting the report;
• Gender and diversity reporting;
• Reporting impact;
• Case studies ;
• Mobilization report;
• Monthly reports;
• Reducing time spent in writing and time readers spend reading;
• Common mistakes in reporting writing

Qualification

This project requires two trainers. Candidates must have the following qualification:

• Relevant university degree(MSC) in economics, business or administration or relevant science; 
• At least three years of experience in delivering similar training in the field of professional development
• Fluency in Arabic with good knowledge of English.
