Background:

We are searching for a team of two (proposal writing trainer and an assistant) in Erbil, Iraq who must be able to speak Arabic and should be familiar with UN proposal writing standards and procurement – as well as The Project Cycle Management. Selection will be based on client requirements only. Your message or membership does not guarantee the assignment to be offered to you. Nor it is an obligation on Accord Worldwide to offer the assignment to any interested members.

Below is requirement and qualification as explained by the client:

Requirements:

Requirements listed below act as a guideline to the very minimum of the services required.
• The training shall be conducted in Arabic. The organization must have the capacity to teach in Arabic or have an Arabic translator. The training must be conducted to a high quality and include practical exercises as well as theoretical lectures.
• The Contractor should provide suitably qualified and experienced Trainers/Training Facilitators to conduct a 6-day training in Erbil, Iraq.
• The Trainers/Trailing Facilitators should at a minimum consist of one Team Leader and one Team Member or Assistant Trainer.
• The Trainers should be fluent in both English and Arabic or translators should be provided.
• To perform effectively, the Contractor’s offer, which will form part of the signed Contract, shall contain a full and detailed description of the Training Execution Plan indicated in section 1.10 below.
• An innovative approach to activities detailed in the RFQ shall be considered highly desirable, and
• Demonstration of gender mainstreaming in planning and delivering the training shall be considered particularly desirable

Required Qualifications

Team Leader/Trainer/Facilitator
• Should have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in capacity development
• Should have previous experience in delivering or facilitating Training
• Expertise and experience in providing training on proposal and budget preparation;
• Should have a good knowledge of Public Procurement Process
• Knowledge of UN procurement process is considered an asset

Training Team Member/ Training Assistant (s)
• Demonstrated experience in delivering/facilitating training
• Experience in providing training on proposal and budget preparation is considered an asset
