Project Overview:

We are intending to bid for a Personal Finance Management Training program. The training aims to equip participants with essential financial management skills, including budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and retirement planning. The program will be delivered virtually, allowing trainers to work remotely while engaging with a diverse group of participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Needs Assessment: participate in a needs assessment survey to identify the target audience’s current level of knowledge on the subject.
  • Deliver Training: Develop and deliver interactive training sessions on personal finance management, ensuring alignment with the curriculum objectives and the specific needs of participants.
  • Participant Engagement: Facilitate engaging and dynamic virtual sessions, encouraging active participation and practical application of financial management concepts.
  • Customization of Content: Tailor training materials to reflect the diverse social, economic, and fiscal contexts of the participants, making the content relevant and accessible.
  • Post-Training Support: Provide ongoing support to participants through follow-up assignments, feedback, and participation in online discussion forums as per the requirements of the client.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness through participant feedback and assessments, contributing to the final project report.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Besides the Master’s degree a professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) is an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs on personal finance management, preferably within multicultural or international settings. Experience working in the East Africa region and with international humanitarian organizations is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial management principles, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and proficiency in virtual training tools and platforms.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French is highly desirable, given the linguistic diversity of the participants.
