Our Training Methodology

We use numerous methods and materials of learning to ensure an effective learning environment. Using multiple methods for each training session can be the most effective way to help trainees learn and most importantly train the knowledge and have adaptive skills. Some of the techniques that we practice during our training sessions are mentioned as follows:
● Case studies
Adults tend to bring a problem-oriented way of thinking to workplace training. Case studies are considered to be an excellent way to capitalize on this type of adult learning. By analyzing real job-related situations, trainees can learn how to handle similar situations. They can also see how various elements of a job work together to create problems as well as solutions.

● Active summaries
By creating small groups with a leader to summarize the lecture’s major points by presenting the summaries to the class is another effective method of recapping the previous day’s learnings. This would help the trainer understand how effective the previous day’s sessions are. It would also help the facilitator to evaluate the participants.

● Questions based discussions
This is another effective method of learning in which instead of explaining, the trainer poses questions to trainees and seeks answers. Based on the answers, the trainer initiates a discussion in which everyone is encouraged to participate. This helps them discover which is far more effective than listening or reading a training manual.

● Role-play
Role-play are considered to be another effective method of learning in which the trainer assumes the trainees to play a role by acting out situations that might occur in the workplace. This helps the trainees to learn how to handle various situations by experiencing it.

● Demonstrations
Demonstrating with various tools or equipment’s that are part of the training topic is another great way of learning. This would help them to familiarize with the tool/ technique which can be effectively used while working.

● Online Learning:
After completion of the on-site training, participants will continue to interact with trainers through the discussion group as well as the online learning portal of Accord Worldwide – https://accordemy.com. The online program is designed to use interactive and self-led learning material that will supplement the classroom learning. Trainees will get the following features through the online support:
● User Account:
Trainees will have their online accounts and membership to discussion groups as a lifetime free membership and they will be able to re-take the entire course online, as well as sustained discussions through the online group. The reason for Accord Worldwide offering this feature as part of its training services is that learning is not a one-time effort, rather, it is a lifelong exploration. Researchers recommend that trainees will need to refer to the reference material after graduation from the training program and hard copies of learning material may not be available for them. Availability of lifetime access to the online version of the course and the training material empowers the trainees.

● Quizzes:
There will be plenty of subject-related quizzes that instructors will create for participants to motivate their knowledge-seeking. Quizzes are made from an existing Question Bank and more questions are added on regular basis. Quizzes will be based on case stories, multiple-choice questions, multiple correct questions, true and false questions, and various other options. Each quiz has an automatic evaluation system and trainees will get the correct answer and hints for each question.

● Reading/Learning Material:
As part of this online account, participants can download and read all the course material along with the additional relevant, supplementary, and open source material that instructors find and share on the course page. Trainees will have the choice to log in and read/download training material at any time. This will not be limited to the course duration.
